Giving
At St. Michael’s Church and Westhumble Chapel we believe that knowing the difference Jesus can make in people’s lives brings such great value, freedom and joy that we seek to live this out and share it by being ‘The Church at the Heart of our Community.’
Following the teaching and example of Jesus often leads us to want to follow His example by doing what we can for those in need, and to want to give others the opportunity to follow Him.
- We desire to give thanks for God’s blessing to us, as individuals and as a church.
- We are so grateful to our generous God who provides so much for us.
- We see generous giving as our response to our loving Heavenly Father.
It is our prayer that all of us, whether new to the church or a member of long standing, will want to play our part with whatever resources we are able to share, of time, talents and financial resources.
As we think about how much God has given to us, many of us find that giving can be a great joy, knowing the good that can be realized by our giving to the lives of other people.
