A Christian community thrives when everyone plays their part in cultivating the gifts God has given to each and every individual, no matter how insignificant or consequential they may seem. We all thrive when we are able to fulfill our created purpose as part of a church family team, for we are created for community, with one another and with God.
‘The human body has many parts, but the many parts make
up one whole body.
So it is with the body of Christ’ 1 Corinthians 12:12 (New Living Translation).
Our love and care for one another encompasses many aspects of our community life in the villages of Mickleham and Westhumble. From the youngest to the more elderly, through home groups, activities, social outreach events, courses, pastoral care and through our commitment of our time, talents and financial resources, we seek to serve all those in the parish.
